Kiln Checkout ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your information.
Kiln Checkout stores all data locally on the device where it is installed. We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers.
Specifically, we do not collect:
- Personal information (name, email, phone number)
- Location data
- Health data
- Usage analytics or tracking data
- Advertising identifiers
All checkout records, member names, and piece information are stored locally on the device using Apple's SwiftData framework. If you delete the app, all data is permanently removed. We recommend regular device backups.
The app requests camera access solely to scan barcodes on checkout receipts. No images or video are stored, transmitted, or processed beyond barcode recognition.
We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
Our app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
